Counts and browser storage

Counting runs on your device. The tools store counts, recent click history, step settings, sound choices, goals, named counters, notes, and spacebar best scores in localStorage. The application does not send these saved tallies to a server. Clear this site’s browser data to remove them. Saved data is limited to the current browser and may be lost in private mode or when storage is unavailable.

Hosting and external services

When you visit, the hosting provider receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time, and may retain access or security logs. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives network requests including your IP address and browser information. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. It collects page views, usage events, session information, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga, to distinguish visitors and sessions. Our counter code does not send saved counts, tally notes, or named counters as analytics events. You can restrict cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising and cookies

Advertising is not enabled in the default site build. If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using browsing activity. Advertising providers may also process IP addresses, device identifiers, and interactions. Other ad vendors, if enabled, must be disclosed here before they are used.

Your advertising choices

You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and participating vendors through YourAdChoices. Where advertising consent is required, a consent message must offer the relevant choices before advertising storage or personalization is used. Browser cookie settings also allow you to restrict cookies. Clearing localStorage deletes saved counts separately from advertising preferences.

Email and policy updates

If you email us, your email address and message are used to handle your request. Do not send sensitive information in tally notes or bug reports. This policy will be updated when site services or data practices change. Contact us to ask about privacy or request deletion of correspondence.
